When a student can teach a subject or skill back to others this is when we know a child has mastered it! This is exactly why we love mixed-age group classrooms. Older students feel proud of their knowledge and teaching it back helps to cement it even further. The younger students admire the leadership skills of the older students and are often inspired to learn from them.
