Curriculum

Light of the World Academy provides a Christ-centered learning environment in which both children and parents feel welcome. Our program is based on the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori, a world-famous educator and psychologist. Through careful observations, she discovered children learn more in their early years than they will learn the rest of their lifetime.

The Montessori classroom is a prepared environment in which all children learn through an individualized approach. Students are provided with an atmosphere in which they learn from each other. They develop self-discipline and learn respect for each other and their environment. The children become self-motivated, self-directed, and very independent as they work at their own level.
