My daughter entered the preschool program at LOTWA for the 2008-2009 school year. Wow--did she blossom! We knew we had the perfect place when it was time for pick-up, Ellie didn't want to leave. Her teachers, Miss Chris and Miss Sandy, encouraged her to use her strenghts to become more self-confident. The entire staff always welcomed conversations upon pick-up and often told anecdotes of the day's events. The school also places an emphasis on the community at large from collecting pet supplies for the Humane Society to collecting Pennies for Peace. My husband and I also like the religious dimension the school offers as Pastor Kurt regularly meets with the children. We strongly believe LOTWA is the best place for Ellie to attend Kindergarten and also enrolled our son in the Early 3's program for the fall of 2009.

LOTWA has been a blessing for our family. After two years at LOTWA, my son had moved beyond the preschool curriculum but wasn't quite ready for full-time Kindergarten. The teachers developed a plan that fit his specific needs to a "T". He is now in the elementary program and we couldn't be prouder of his academic achievements. The staff at LOTWA is phenomenal in every way. We truly can't imagine a more supportive, caring environment for our children.

This year we have our last child at LOTWA for preschool. This is our fourth child we have had attend LOTWA. Each of our children has had a wonderful and unique experience. With each of our children learning differently, the Montessori environment allowed them to learn in a way that was best for them. Our older children still get so excited to see the next one "showcase" their Montessori things, from their first sound box, to their workbooks, to their maps that they have push-pinned. And of course, the reason LOTWA is the best, is because of the teachers. They are all very nurturing and caring, and make every child feel special.

My wife and I are parents for four wonderful children. While my wife works full-time, I am blessed with the title of "Stay at Home Dad". I am also a memeber of the Air National Guard. Last fall my unit was "called-up" for a two-month deployment to Iraq. Our youngest daughter was only four years-old and up until that point we had no intention of putting her into a preschool. With my wife's work commitment there was no way for her to change her work schedule in my absence, so we began the painful process of looking for a daycare.
While looking online for a potential caregiver for our daughter we stumbled across LOTWA's website. We had heard good things about the school but had no idea what they had to offer people in our situation. We decided to set up a meeting with Kathy Moorehouse, the school's director, to inquire about our little girl attending school.
WHAT A BLESSING! LOTWA was able to take our little preschooler full-time and even offered us after school care when we needed it. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day. She absolutely loves all of her teachers and gets all of the individual attention and love that she needs. Most days she does not want to leave when we go to pick her up. All of the children seem to be so well behaved and the staff is super friendly. LOTWA does all sorts of neat things with the children from gardening to charity work--there always seems to be some important life lessong being learned while having fun. Furthermore, they have been very accommodating when it comes to making tuition payments. We are very glad to have found LOTWA and please to have been a part of something so great!

This September will be our 6th year at LOTWA and all three of our children are attending. Both my husband and I are so grateful we decided to have our children attend LOTWA. It has been such an enriching experience for them and also for us. They look forward to school each day--as a matter of fact, I would say they are eager. The class sizes, the individual attention, the quality of teachers and their devotion to our kids make LOTWA a perfect place to grow and learn.
